The Water Treatment Process Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in refinery/industrial facilities to purify water to meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate assigned machines and equipment to achieve processing and quality targets
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and independently operate complex equipment such as pumps, engines, centrifuges, generators, valves, gates, mixers, conveyors, blowers, dryers, chemical feed systems, odor control systems, disinfection equipment, sludge processing filters, belt presses and measuring/control devices
  • Work effectively in a team environment and assume additional or new responsibilities as needed
  • Use computer programs for process control
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required; experience in a related position and environment preferred
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English (operational, process, safety and quality instructions)
  • Basic mathematical calculations skills
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Pass a drug test and criminal background check
