Job Title: Mini Excavator Operator

Job Summary:

Southeast Connections LLC is seeking a skilled Mini Excavator Operator to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, including mini excavators, to install, remove, and maintain underground utilities and pipe installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mini excavators and other heavy equipment to complete tasks safely and efficiently
  • Ensure all project work is compliant with installation standards and is being performed safely and correctly
  • Promote and monitor the safety of team members
  • Prepare sites to ensure maximum optimization of construction work procedures
  • Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks for daily projects

Requirements:

  • 3 years of prior operating experience, with limited operator experience on multiple pieces of equipment
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operations, safety, and maintenance
  • Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, safety, and quality standards
  • Precise hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
