Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Purchasing Manager to join our team at Insomniac Holdings, LLC. As a key member of our Production Operations department, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement needs of our events and festivals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of purchasing managers to ensure timely and accurate procurement of goods and services.
  • Partner with Production Operations staff to understand business needs and create purchase orders.
  • Monitor spend against budget and notify when exceeding budget.
  • Reconcile invoices to Purchase Order receipts and resolve variances with Operations and vendors.
  • Develop strong vendor relationships to ensure win-win results.
  • Train on procedures and testing related to system upgrades.
  • Special projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Prior media and entertainment production support experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with event production support.
  • Must have experience with creating and maintaining purchase orders.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical field.
  • Understanding of fundamental finance and business concepts.
  • Proven ability to navigate through Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment.
Work Environment
  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments.
  • Must be willing to travel to work and travel to events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines and work events.
