Role Overview:

The Senior Offshore Site Technician will oversee daily operations primarily in offshore environments, with occasional onshore responsibilities during project transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the team of Site Technicians, including scheduling and timesheet oversight.
  • Coordinate daily task planning and Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) for the Site Technicians.
  • Support Site Technicians in their daily operations, particularly in BOP/OSS tasks, as necessary.
  • Oversee the upkeep of OSS equipment, including cranes, davit lifting systems, and manual hoists.
  • Address additional tasks assigned to Site Technicians by project leads.
  • Maintain a comprehensive list of project defects for timely rectification.
  • Conduct walk-downs and inspections as directed by the Offshore Site Manager.
  • Assist in the installation of locks and chains during commissioning processes.
  • Manage servicing, repairs, refueling, and removal of foundation generators.
  • Perform general maintenance and inspections of mechanical OSS systems, excluding electrical tasks during construction phases.
  • Plan and coordinate davit crane operations.
  • Engage with union leadership regarding work scope for union personnel.

Work Rotation:

Post-training, the two Lead Site Technicians will operate on a two-week on/off rotation to ensure continuous coverage.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Must be a resident of the United States.
  • Completion of GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, and Manual Handling.
  • BOSIET/HUET certification including CA-EBS (can be obtained during a familiarization trip).
  • Possession of an OGUK Medical certificate including Chester Step.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Familiarity with crane lifting operations (certification not mandatory).
  • Experience as a Slinger & Banksman (certification not mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience.
