Traveling Nurse Practitioner

At Syntricate Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Traveling Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Traveling Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for supervising the application of nursing techniques required in care and treatment of patients. You will advise subordinate staff in policies and procedures, observe employees as they perform tasks to ensure efficiency in work activities, and identify exceptional performance characteristics through employee discussions and personal observations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the application of nursing techniques required in care and treatment of patients
Advise subordinate staff in policies and procedures
Observe employees as they perform tasks to ensure efficiency in work activities
Identify exceptional performance characteristics through employee discussions and personal observations
Discuss methods to improve performance and motivate employees by discussing employee performance
Resolve disputes among employees following organizational policies and procedures
Implement corrective measures to staff for inappropriate actions through discussions, written warnings, and recommendations for suspension or termination
Requirements
Knowledge of accepted nursing practices and techniques and complex medical treatments
Knowledge of applicable laws, policies, procedures, agency administrative directives, regulations and rules
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
Ability to function independently without close/continuous supervision
Ability to manage change
Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions
Ability to communicate (verbally and written) information and ideas
Ability to assess and monitor healthcare outcomes
Ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem
Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
Ability to multitask between two or more activities or sources of information
Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects
Ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing
Ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
Ability to see under low light conditions
Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person
Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness
