Role: Program Manager (Expert in Agile Tools)
Location: Richmond, VA
Position Overview
This role encompasses comprehensive technology support for programs and initiatives, including financial management of initiatives. The position entails managing responsibilities related to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversions, and recovery efforts. The individual will be accountable for the technical execution of projects that support the Rewards team. This role requires direct and matrixed execution responsibilities across all technology divisions, as well as collaboration with the Line of Business Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side to deliver the program/initiatives. The Program Manager will oversee multiple initiatives or a significant singular initiative, partnering with Program Managers, Delivery Leads, and Subject Matter Experts to develop business features for technology solutions. Additionally, the role involves assisting with technology estimates and managing low to moderate complexity technology solutions from project inception to full-scale deployment in a live environment.
Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a project manager or technical lead.
- Strong technical foundation with knowledge or hands-on experience in front-end and back-end technologies.
- Proven expertise in the banking sector.
- Capability to identify areas for enhancement and propose effective solutions.
- Ability to design and evaluate system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Familiarity with design patterns and industry best practices.
- Understanding of business objectives and alignment of technical solutions with those objectives.
- Skill in prioritizing features based on business value.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication abilities to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Confidence in making informed decisions under pressure.
Compensation: The expected annual salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. This role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits, which include a comprehensive range of medical and dental options, disability insurance, paid time off (including sick leave), and various paid and unpaid leave options.
