About the Role

Cummins is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Technician to join our team. As a Health and Safety Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance Safety Compliance: Support the closure of gaps in compliance with local regulatory health and safety requirements to ensure the site meets all necessary standards.
  • Promote a Safety Culture: Build an understanding of HSE culture and communicate effectively to create safety awareness and foster a safer work environment.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Gain a basic understanding of Emergency Response processes to support the site in being prepared for any emergencies.
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation: Assist in the reporting and investigation of work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
  • Data Analysis for Safety Trends: Gather data for the analysis of safety-related trends to provide insights that can be used to improve safety measures and reduce risks.
  • Support Health and Wellness Initiatives: Contribute to the overall well-being of the workforce by supporting health, safety, and wellness initiatives.
  • Maintain Confidentiality and Records: Ensure confidentiality and appropriate recordkeeping standards to protect sensitive information and comply with corporate data protection requirements.
  • Quality and Teamwork: Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures, while actively participating in team efforts to improve quality, safety, and processes, to enhance overall operational efficiency.

  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Implement changes in processes, equipment, and applications to meet functional needs and contribute to continuous improvement.
