Position Summary
The Cannabis Retail Specialist works closely with the management team to ensure that every customer enjoys a premium experience while exploring cannabis products. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing comprehensive information about cannabis regulations and programs.
  • Engaging in community outreach and events.
  • Performing various front-of-house tasks such as Reception, Hosting, Sales Floor Consulting, and Cashiering.

Operational Duties
The Retail Specialist also plays a vital role in:
  • Organizing products and managing inventory.
  • Communicating effectively with customers.
  • Assisting with back-of-house tasks including Receiving, Packaging, Stocking, and Order Dispatching.

Key Responsibilities
As a representative of the Mission brand, you will:
  • Adhere to all local and state regulations as well as company policies.
  • Deliver exceptional service while providing tailored recommendations on cannabis products and consumption methods.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Handle cash transactions responsibly.
  • Support team objectives to foster overall success.

Compensation and Schedule
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00, with bi-weekly payments. Full-time availability is required, including weekends, with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess:
  • At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a specialized environment.
  • Familiarity with the cannabis industry.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • A valid government-issued photo ID and be at least 21 years old.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • The capability to obtain a Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card as per state regulations.
