This is a full-time position working nights shift as a SWAT Resource Nurse at Northwest Medical Center. Become a Critical Care Super Hero working in a fast-paced team environment where you can grow in your professional nursing career.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency events and evaluate assigned patients, providing life-saving medications and interventions.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care.
- Assist physicians during high-acuity and special procedures at the bedside in various departments throughout the hospital.
- Respond emergently to codes, RRT, STEMI/BAT (stroke response team), and serve as an expert resource to other nurses when faced with emergent or complicated clinical scenarios.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- 2 or more years of experience as a RN in a critical care setting.
- Current Arizona RN license or compact state license.
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS and ACLS.
