About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technician to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity for a Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members, including monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered, with accurate documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure, as required.
  • Share on-call responsibilities, with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, with adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Catheterization Laboratory Technician, preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to grasp, fine manipulate, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
  • Mental requirements include coping with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
