About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in our catheterization laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members, including nurses and physicians.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure depending on the unit.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist preferred.
  • Other certifications may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions.
  • PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
