Health Equity Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Equity Program Coordinator to join our team at ATA Services Inc. in Albuquerque, NM.
About the RoleThis is a temporary staff position that will be hired under ATA Services, Inc. and paid through ATA but reporting directly to the NM Dept. of Health. The successful candidate will work with the Public Health Division, Northwest Region Health Promotion team.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate health equity programs to impact attitudes, knowledge, and behaviors for improved health.
- Apply evidence-informed theories, models, and strategies to health promotion programs.
- Identify, develop, deliver, and evaluate health communication messages using various communication strategies.
- Provide expert consultation, assistance, and guidance to individuals, groups, and organizations.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Public or Health Education.
- At least 2 years of experience in a health-related field.
The hourly wage for this position is estimated to be around $28.21 per hour.
