Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Healthcare Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team in Wisconsin. As a key member of our Quality Improvement department, you will play a vital role in enhancing health outcomes for our Medicaid population.

About the Role

In this exciting role, you will learn how healthcare quality impacts the Medicaid customers we serve in Wisconsin. You will gain valuable experience in Population Health Management, Health Equity, and Quality Improvement, and apply the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Model of Quality Improvement to enable enhanced health outcomes.

You will work closely with our QI Provider Engagement, Quality Analytics, Quality Intervention, and Quality Compliance teams to lead and assist with the execution of member and provider-facing Quality Improvement interventions. Additionally, you will study the effectiveness of these interventions and support Health Equity analytics and decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Quality Improvement initiatives to enhance health outcomes for our Medicaid population
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute Quality Improvement interventions
  • Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of Quality Improvement initiatives
  • Support Health Equity analytics and decision making to inform Quality Improvement strategies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Good time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Computer experience including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with a background in healthcare administration, public health, or related fields are highly desirable. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.

Salary

The estimated hourly salary range for this role is $20.29 - $21.66 per hour, based on location, work experience, education, and skill level.
