Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the State of Delaware. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer treatments as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration
  • Pour, administer, chart, and record medications
  • Give prescribed intramuscular and subcutaneous injections and inoculations
  • Observe patient behavior and condition, reporting changes to appropriate staff
  • Record information on patients' charts
Requirements
  • Possession of a Delaware Practical Nurse license, Delaware temporary license, or multi-state compact license
  • At least six months experience as a Practical Nurse for Licensed Practical Nurse II
  • At least eighteen months experience as a Practical Nurse for Licensed Practical Nurse III
