Role Summary:

The Clinical Laboratory Technologist employs their education, expertise, and analytical skills to deliver the most precise specimen analysis results. Responsibilities include conducting examinations and tests on diverse specimen types to furnish clinicians with essential patient management information across various fields such as Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Transfusion Services, and Specimen Processing. The technologist may receive training in all or specific areas based on laboratory requirements. Adherence to Laboratory and Corporate Compliance, as mandated by regulatory bodies, is a crucial component of our laboratory's operations. Each team member is expected to be well-versed in and act in accordance with the Compliance Plans of the Laboratory and Medical Center. Our patient demographic ranges from newborns to adolescents, with occasional adult cases. Detailed instructions are provided in the procedure manuals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
  • Must possess MT (ASCP), MT (AMT), or MT (HEW) certification, or be registered or eligible for equivalent certification.

Compensation:

This is a temporary assignment with competitive hourly pay and a completion bonus.
