Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit team at Medical City Arlington. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current Texas State RN license or compact license required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Previous ICU experience required.
