Pediatric Occupational Therapist Job Description

Pediatric Therapy, Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate occupational therapist to provide therapy services to children of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations to assess children's functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide individualized therapy services to children to address fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
  • Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each child.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and other required paperwork.
  • Provide education and support to parents and caregivers to promote carryover of therapeutic interventions at home.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current State License.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and evidence-based practice in pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with other therapists and healthcare professionals, as well as the ability to educate and support families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
