Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Pediatric Therapy Inc., you will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the client's needs and goals, and provide therapy sessions in the clinic, home, or school settings using appropriate modalities and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the client's needs and goals
  • Provide therapy sessions in the clinic, home, or school settings using appropriate modalities and techniques
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as physicians, psychologists, teachers, and parents, to ensure optimal care and outcomes
  • Document and report the client's progress, outcomes, and billing information
  • Maintain professional standards and ethical practices
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Requirements
  • A master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program
  • A current license to practice speech-language pathology in Texas
  • A certificate of clinical competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to obtain it within a year of employment
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations with various communication and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
