Job Description:
">Nursing Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
">Core Duties
- Coordinate with nursing staff and support personnel daily to plan shifts' services, programs, and activities
">- Prepare and administer medications, reviewing medication cards for completeness and accuracy
">- Review resident care plans for appropriate goals, problems, approaches, and revisions based on nursing needs
">- Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for quality care
">- Provide leadership to nursing personnel, making daily rounds to ensure staff provides direct care in accordance with resident care plans and wishes
">Qualifications:
">Education and Experience
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in the state
">- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing care facilities
">- Chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner reflecting the care provided and the resident's response to care
