HVAC Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout the resort.

• System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with HVAC systems, including diagnosing and repairing faults, and performing preventative maintenance to prevent system failures.
• System Installation: Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, vents, and other related components.
• Supply Management: Manage and maintain inventory of HVAC supplies, including ordering and stocking parts and materials.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the facilities maintenance team to ensure seamless operation of all resort systems.

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, or a related field.
• Certifications: HAVC-R Technician certification required.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. Ability to work at heights, and in confined spaces. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

The physical demands of this position include frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to handle or feel objects. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must be able to stand for several hours. The work environment is loud, and the team member may be exposed to biohazardous fluids, second-hand smoke, and hostile environments.
