Responsibilities:
Collaborate within a multifaceted design team to deliver engineering services across various disciplines.

Lead or contribute to the design of intricate roadway and transportation projects that necessitate innovative solutions.

Utilize multiple design software to execute engineering and design tasks.

Apply engineering principles to perform calculations relevant to design.

Prepare engineering cost estimates for projects.

Support project teams as required across a range of initiatives.

Guide and mentor junior engineers.

Evaluate project scope and timelines to formulate budgets and address technical project components.

Travel to project sites for design execution.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in roadway design and project development.

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or the capability to obtain it within a short timeframe.

Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads is essential.

Experience with TxDOT roadway design project engineering is required.

Ability to independently produce PS&E plans.

Familiarity with TxDOT design standards is advantageous.

Capacity to manage multiple projects across various teams and disciplines.
