As a Registered Nurse at Montefiore Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Supervise nursing attendants and ancillary staff in patient care activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- One (1) year of acute care RN experience is required; exceptional recent graduates will be considered.
- 2 years of RN experience in Medical / Surgical, Telemetry, or Emergency Department experience preferred.
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.
- BSN Degree preferred.
- BLS/ACLS/PALS Training.
- Infection Control and Barrier Precaution.
- Certification in specialty preferred.
- Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.
