Job Title: Banquet Server

ASM Global, a leading provider of public assembly facilities, is seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team at Savor, the exclusive Food & Beverage provider at the Hampton Roads Convention Center.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including preparing tables, serving food and beverages, and cleaning up after events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage Manager and Banquet Captain to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict grooming standards and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with food preparation, serving, and cleaning.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of six (6) months' work experience in a service-oriented environment.
  • Strong guest service skills and ability to receive and carry out instructions in a timely manner.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
