Job Summary:The LVN is responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and performing various administrative duties. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provides direct patient care, including vital sign measurements, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assists healthcare providers with exams and procedures, and prepares patients for treatment.
- Monitors patient flow and ensures that patients are seen in a timely manner.
- Performs basic administrative duties, including responding to patient inquiries and maintaining accurate records.
- Schedules diagnostic tests and surgeries as ordered by the healthcare provider.
- Ensures patient confidentiality and maintains a safe environment in accordance with standards, policies, and safety regulations.
- Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing Program.
- Valid California Vocational Nursing license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 2 years of experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting.
