Job Description: As a Nursing Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and meet their individual needs. Your duties will include supervising licensed nursing staff, medication technicians, and caregivers, as well as providing training and education to ensure consistency and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the continuity and consistency of medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision/administration
  • Conduct periodic care associate medication skills inventory checks and medication audits per Brookdale guidelines
  • Assist in the supervision of community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and caregivers
  • Provide training and education to caregivers on an ongoing basis, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training
  • Share on-call duties as required

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience as a LPN/LVN or RN, as well as a strong understanding of nursing principles and practices. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and residents, and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
