Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled individual to fulfill an urgent requirement. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating both automated and manual fastener drilling machinery. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with a solid understanding of fastener production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjust and change tooling as necessary
  • Ability to stand and work for shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours
  • Facilitate the movement of components to subsequent production stages
  • Conduct inspections on the first piece, during the process, and the final piece
  • Utilize mathematical skills during the setup process

Qualifications Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of machine operating experience (Required)
  • Experience in the fastener industry is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential
  • Ability to read a Caliper and Micrometer
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints
  • Mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic
  • Logical and mathematical aptitude
