Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Midas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostics and Repairs: Use state-of-the-art computer systems to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues.
  • Tire and Brake Services: Perform tire repairs, brake services, and other related tasks.
  • Engine and Cooling Systems: Repair and maintain engine and cooling systems, including radiators, hoses, and belts.
  • Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including batteries, starters, and alternators.
  • Steering and Suspension: Repair and maintain steering and suspension systems, including shocks, struts, and ball joints.
  • Exhaust Systems: Repair and maintain exhaust systems, including mufflers, catalytic converters, and exhaust pipes.
  • Visual Safety Inspections: Perform visual safety inspections to identify potential issues and recommend repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Possess strong technical skills and knowledge of automotive systems, including brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, with technical degree a plus. State-specific auto repair certifications a must.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year, depending on experience.
