Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities- Implement physician-prescribed plans of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
- Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems and concerns
- Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
