About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Geologist/Environmental Scientist with 4 to 10 years of experience to join our team in either Farmington or Derby, CT.

This challenging role involves designing and executing hydrogeological investigations, remedial actions, and environmental assessments. Successful candidates will have opportunities to work on a variety of assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field team supervision and subcontractor oversight
  • Environmental data management and site assessments
  • Conceptual site model development and remediation design
  • Data analysis and interpretation, report preparation, and budget development
  • Client and stakeholder interaction, staff mentoring, and other duties as assigned

Work Experience & Knowledge:

  • Multi-media field sampling and logging techniques, monitoring well design and installation, and geospatial data collection and analysis
  • Oversight and management of subcontractors, knowledge of regulatory framework in the Northeast, and environmental site assessments (Phase I/II/III)
  • Due Diligence support, site construction oversight and management, and report preparation
  • Groundwater/soil remediation technologies relative to chlorinated solvent, petroleum hydrocarbon, emerging contaminants, and Manufactured Gas Plant sites
  • Consulting experience, professional licensure, and general or working knowledge of Connecticut DEEP assessment, investigation, and remediation programs
  • Familiarity with common database (i.e., EQuIS) and GIS platforms
