Quality Control Specialist

Connecticut Spring & Stamping is seeking an experienced Quality Control Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required standards of quality. If you have a high school or technical school education with mathematics emphasis and experience operating gauges and testing equipment, we encourage you to apply.
Estimated Annual Salary:$58,000 - $75,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine checks, tests, gauging, and instrument inspections of material, product in process, and finished goods.
- Inspect visually for obvious defects and notify leaders or supervisors when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits.
- Conduct detailed inspections to determine the quality of products where limits are not clearly defined.
- Maintain adherence to company policies, environmental and safety standards, and good housekeeping standards.
- Observe company processes and make recommendations for improvement.
- High school or technical school education with mathematics emphasis.
- Experience with operating gauges and testing equipment.
- Analytical capabilities to interpret detailed and complex drawings.
- Frequent stooping and bending may be required.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate inspection machinery for precision work.
- Corrected vision required to read directions and prints.
