We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dental Depot. As a key member of our oral health care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting preventive oral health practices.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Clean and examine teeth and gums, using dental instruments and ultrasonic technology, to detect and prevent oral diseases.
- Oral Health Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
- Diagnostic Services: Expose and interpret x-rays, chart conditions of decay and disease, and provide diagnostic information to dentists.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain patient records, schedule appointments, and perform administrative duties as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other oral health care professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Education: Associate's degree in dental hygiene or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a dental hygienist.
- Certifications: Current certification in dental hygiene and CPR.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
This position requires the ability to work in a clinical setting, with frequent exposure to x-rays and other medical equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional patient care.
