Abdominal Transplant Surgery Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team in Abdominal Transplant Surgery. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assume clinical responsibility for tasks performed within the scope of practice, including taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and providing care and management for common illnesses and diseases.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Provide education to patients, families, and colleagues on various topics related to patient care and health promotion.
- Utilize evidence-based practice and stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of Abdominal Transplant Surgery.
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Three years of clinical experience in the area of specialty.
- Compact state or Arizona RN license, Arizona Advance Practice Nurse license, and National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in the area of specialty.
- Valid DEA registration and American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
