Cage Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled Cashier to join our team at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for executing monetary transactions for guests and maintaining a high level of customer service.

• Accurately balance assigned bank and maintain knowledge of Title 31, OJC Internal Controls, CGS Regulations, and departmental policy and procedures.
• Act as an ambassador for OJC and deliver excellent guest service at all times.
• Cash checks and gaming tickets into money for guests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Assist other Cashiers as needed and maintain confidentiality.
• Report issues to management swiftly and ensure adherence to all CGS compliance, Title 31, CTR, SARC, MTL, and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
• Hold accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
• Create an atmosphere of fun for all casino guests and encourage mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all team members.
• Maintain an attitude and philosophy consistent with the company Core Values and Standards of Behavior with internal and external guests.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1-year money handling experience (i.e., banking, cage, etc.).
• Superior attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong math skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and maintain a professional and positive demeanor with guests and team members.

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
