Job Summary

The Construction Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. This includes developing and maintaining project management plans, procuring necessary materials and equipment, and administering elements of the budgeting and cost control processes.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A minimum of three to four years of similar construction engineering experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project management plans, including procurement schedules and budgeting and cost control processes.
  • Procure necessary materials and equipment, and coordinate submittals with other trades.
  • Administer elements of the budgeting and cost control processes, including preparing and reviewing change orders.
  • Prevent and mitigate claims, and identify potential claims and quantify their effects.
Requirements
  • An advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A minimum of three to four years of similar construction engineering experience.
