Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Sort: Inspect molded or assembled parts/products for defects and sort them according to quality standards.
- Packaging and Palletization: Pack acceptable parts into designated packaging or pallet configurations based on customer requirements and quality standards.
- Quality Control: Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
- Record Keeping: Record production data and maintain accurate records.
- Visual Inspection: Perform visual inspections of molded parts for conformance to established quality standards.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper disposal of rejected parts and keeping the area free of debris and standing water.
- Safety and Compliance: Perform duties in conformance with all established safety policies and procedures.
- Observation and Attention to Detail: Ability to visually inspect parts during production and determine whether they meet quality standards.
- Reading Comprehension: Understanding of written instructions contained in work-related documents.
- Active Listening: Ability to give full attention to what others are saying and understand the points being made.
- Operation Monitoring: Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure a machine is working properly.
- Learning Strategies: Ability to select and use training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for periods of 4-8 hours, lift 25 lbs, and perform physical mobility involving repeated bending and stretching.
