Unit Overview

Our Orthopedic and Neurosurgery unit is a dynamic and fast-paced environment with 16 operating rooms, providing a wide range of surgical services.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in scrub training and surgical procedures as needed
  • Document patient education and learning in the health record
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Specialty certification in Orthopedic or Neurosurgery highly recommended
