We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our Wafer Fabrication team at Solid State Devices, Inc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment in our facility, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Assemble and replace fixtures, including test sockets and cables.
- Perform ESD verification of equipment and workbenches to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Manage inventory of production equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source equipment and materials.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
- Associate's degree in a relevant field, such as electronics or mechanical engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in a related technical role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of production equipment and electronic controls.
- Experience with high-temperature furnaces and DI water systems.
- Understanding of vacuum systems and pumps.
- Familiarity with heat controllers and ability to read and understand schematics.
