Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Equipment Installer to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing conventional and addressable fire alarm, security, nurse call, intercom, CCTV Systems, and other related building systems products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm and security systems, including conventional and addressable systems.
  • Perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing a ladder, scaffolding, working within ducts, crawl spaces above ceilings, etc.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operation/product manuals.
  • Perform inspections and installation activities on electronic fire systems.
  • Work overtime and overnight shifts during busy project schedules.
Requirements
  • Two (2) years of experience in Fire Alarm or Integrated Security Systems maintenance.
  • Electrical installation experience.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codes.
