Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team at Stew Leonard's, a family-owned and operated fresh food store. As a Refrigeration Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the building's equipment, including commercial food equipment and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair building equipment, including commercial food equipment and refrigeration systems
  • Complete assigned PMs and repairs independently or as part of a team
  • Accurately troubleshoot, diagnose, and price out parts and equipment necessary for repairs
  • Maintain an orderly shop and general maintenance of work areas
  • Assist with other aspects of the department as directed by the Facility Manager
Requirements
  • Vocational/trade school degree and/or 1-3 years of experience
  • Basic knowledge of trades such as equipment repair, electrical, and refrigeration
  • Familiarity with operation of power tools, welding, and equipment such as scissor lifts
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word, and Internet research engines
  • OSHA 10 Certification
