Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Community Engagement Intern to support our community development efforts. This role will report to the Community Programs and Events Manager and will play a vital part in the planning and execution of community-focused programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination of community outreach programs.
  • Support the development and implementation of current and future community engagement initiatives.
  • Help with the operational execution of various community programs.
  • Organize community events and manage participant engagement.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including surveys, tracking, and reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in community service or a strong desire to serve.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the local area.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
