Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce animal control ordinances and regulations
  • Respond to animal-related emergencies, including animal bites, cruelty cases, and animal escapes

  • Prepare and maintain records and reports related to animal control activities
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of experience working with animals or in a related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a variety of environments, including outdoors in all weather conditions, and in a shelter or kennel setting. The employee may be exposed to animal bites, scratches, and other hazards associated with working with animals.
