As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, and develop and implement individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor surgical procedures as needed.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our surgical services.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
- Successful completion of ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Ability to quickly master computerized medical recordkeeping and billing systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
This role requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
