As a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Enterprise Management Tools, you will be responsible for delivering effective solutions to intricate challenges. Your role will involve tailoring advanced solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients, ensuring that user experience remains a top priority.
Core Duties:
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and operation of the Enterprise Management Tools Suite.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary configuration changes.
- Manage nodes, accounts, and profiles while supporting performance monitoring and metrics reporting for web applications.
Essential Qualifications:
- A comprehensive understanding of event management and system/application health.
- Proficiency in both agent and agentless monitoring across network and application performance.
- Ensure COTS products operate effectively within a secure environment, adhering to PKI-based authentication and corporate authorization protocols.
Required Skills:
- Experience with Windows Server and RHEL/Linux Server administration.
- Familiarity with network device management including firewalls and routers.
- Proficient in web application technologies and command-line interfaces.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with OpenText Operations Bridge Suite and its various components.
- Programming knowledge in languages such as Python, R, or JavaScript is advantageous.
- Familiarity with data analytics applications like Splunk or Elastic ELK Stack is a plus.
Work Environment:
- On-site position with a standard workweek of 40 hours.
- Availability for after-hours on-call support may be required.
