Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  2. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health conditions and treatment options.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  4. Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  5. Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current Alaska RN license
  • Associate's degree in nursing or higher
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in acute care nursing
