Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Fairbanks, Alaska

Foundation Health Partners is seeking an ambitious Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Outpatient Family Medicine Team in Fairbanks, Alaska. The Opportunity:
We offer a competitive base salary with scalable income opportunities, a comprehensive benefits package, and a strong commitment to work-life balance. You will have the chance to manage patients independently with physician oversight as needed, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary health system to provide high-quality patient care.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting at a base of $147,112, compensation can be further adjusted based on experience. Additional opportunity to increase earnings through productivity. A $40k sign-on bonus is also available.
Schedule and Autonomy:
Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. 7 weeks of annual time off and 2 weeks for continuing medical education. You will have the autonomy to manage your patient load and make decisions about patient care, with physician oversight as needed.

Qualifications:
Must possess knowledge of clinical care and patient treatment as normally obtained through the completion of master's degree in nursing. Must be approved to practice as a Family NP (FNP) by the State Board of Nursing by proof of license/certification. Requires current RN license in state of practice. Must be certified to practice by the State Board of Nursing within a particular population as a nurse practitioner. Requires personal DEA license or must have prescribing and dispensing authority granted by the state board of nursing. Additional technical and professional certifications may be required based on type of nurse practitioner and scope of delineation document under medical staff services for an individual facility. Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills. Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management. DNP or PhD preferred. Current BLS certification preferred. A minimum of 3 years previous relevant experience preferred.
