Department: Rehabilitation Services

Reports to: Rehabilitation Services Director, Rehabilitation Services Manager

Work Schedule: Full-Time/Part-Time - Salary

Compensation: $72,800-$95,680 annually, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and analyze assessments and test outcomes to formulate effective rehabilitation strategies.

- Implement a variety of rehabilitation techniques in compliance with industry regulations.

- Instruct patients in performing therapeutic exercises and utilizing rehabilitation equipment, ensuring adherence to prescribed plans.

- Educate patients regarding their conditions and provide guidance on preventive self-care to promote sustained wellness.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for efficient discharge planning and follow-up care.

- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to compliance standards.

- Support the operational effectiveness of rehabilitation aides, student interns, and volunteers within their designated roles.

- Uphold a safe and hygienic working environment, following infection control protocols.

- Ensure the proper functioning of equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

- Integrate clinical expertise, patient preferences, and current best practices into daily therapeutic interventions.

Educational and Certification Requirements:

- Graduate from an Accredited Rehabilitation Program.

- Successful completion of a clinical internship.

- Current Colorado rehabilitation specialist license required.

- BLS Certification within three months of employment.

Experience Required:

- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant rehabilitation experience, preferably in orthopedic and sports medicine settings; or a combination of training and experience.

Physical Requirements:

- This role is performed in a rehabilitation gym within a medical facility.

- The position involves regular walking, sitting, standing, bending, and lifting throughout working hours.

- The ability to lift objects exceeding 50 pounds is essential, along with the capability to assist patients in mobility as needed.

- Candidates must remain vigilant to ensure patient safety at all times.
