**Job Summary**

As a Manager at Belk, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store, including:

  • Hiring and Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates and management staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure that merchandise is properly displayed and organized.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Foster a positive shopping environment, promote sales, and provide exceptional customer service to drive sales growth and customer loyalty.
  • Store Appearance and Maintenance: Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing, with a focus on creating an engaging shopping experience.
  • Accounting and Administration: Manage cash handling, process transactions, and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a similar role at Belk or a comparable company.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting sales targets and achieving business objectives.
