Albany Medical Center seeks a skilled Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team in Diagnostic Radiology. As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing technical procedures and assisting in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma Facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce diagnostic images using various imaging modalities
  • Provide a safe and positive experience for patients
  • Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health Code Part 16
  • Support teaching and continued learning as technology changes
Requirements
  • Associate of Applied Science Degree or diploma in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
  • New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in the State of New York
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Work Environment

This role may require access to sensitive information, including HIPAA Protected Health Information. Workforce members are expected to ensure that access to information is based on a "need to know" and is the minimum necessary to properly perform assigned duties.
