Job Overview

Position Summary:
The role involves the automation of existing manual testing processes to enhance efficiency. This includes developing automated test cases and tools, as well as contributing to the definition of new processes aimed at improving tracking of our testing velocity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement functional test scenarios based on user stories within Agile Sprints.
  • Collaborate with development and testing teams to comprehend testing requirements and establish automated tests and tools.
  • Evaluate project requirements to confirm their testability.
  • Document all test outcomes following the integration of related test codes into the Master branch, ensuring that failures are debugged to identify root causes, allowing only valid defects to be recorded in the defect tracking system.
  • Work alongside feature engineers to replicate and resolve defects identified in the system.
  • Engage in root cause analysis of software defects and hardware quality issues.
  • Contribute to system design, documentation, and testing to deliver a top-tier infotainment system.
  • Provide time estimates for testing-related tasks during sprint planning.

Required Skills:
Proficiency in QA Testing, particularly with Python or similar scripting languages, along with software development capabilities.

Experience:
Familiarity with JIRA and TestRail is essential.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required.
