Position Overview

The role of the Sales Merchandiser is integral to our operations, focusing on the Large Store segment. This position acts as both the Account Manager and Merchandiser for a select group of large retail accounts. The Sales Merchandiser is the primary liaison between Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast management and store management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture customer relationships while driving sales and managing product orders for a designated customer base.
  • Regularly stock products on shelves and in coolers, ensuring adherence to product rotation standards.
  • Educate customers about our extensive beverage portfolio and promote additional displays and promotional programs.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and manage company assets, including promotional signage and displays.
  • Collaborate with business partners to communicate account activities effectively.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds, bending, reaching, and merchandising.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required; an associate's degree or higher is preferred.
  • At least one year of general work experience is required, with a preference for candidates with relevant sales experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company policy guidelines are required.
  • Ability to repetitively lift, pull, and push up to 40 pounds, and to operate manual and powered material handling equipment.
